This is 3d rendering using rhino 3d software. Its used for real time model that we can estimate on how it will been done later.

TECHNICAL DRAWING

For this stage i have to make a technical drawing for the next step.For this progress i need to measure a detail size accurate with 1:1 scale.Hence this important to understand the measurement to make a prototype.

My Inspired

I prefer to choose the butterfly as my inspired because it has a simply beautiful shape.Plus we can see the lines at the wings. From there, i started to study and develop the shape and pattern.For this stage i was guided by Professor Hj.Zainal who are my lecturer.A few pattern of lines was selected to develop for the second stage.Next,i made a 3d sketches to understand the proportion of seater. For this project, my concern are focus on aesthetic seater.

DESIGN CRITERIA

Comfort                  ::    It is should be comfort seating to seat.

Safety                     ::   The material choosing should be safe to use, no healthy effected. No sharp edge shape.

Durable                   ::   It should be weather resistant, long lasting usage.

User friendly            ::  Easy to use.

In the right- of way  ::  Should be located outside the pedestrian zone unless it is integrated into the                             

                                     walking surface.

DESIGN CONCEPT

For this project i am free to choose my concept. Based on my philosophy which is MINIMALISM where it derived from simple, easy line shape and form. So i start it with a basic, that is line. Linear seat  ::  The seat design will come out with combination of repetition of lines to make a simply shape. The design concept also should have an aesthetic value and follow by function.

PHILOSOPHY OF DESIGN - MINIMALISM

I prefer the concept of minimalism is because of I like a simple style, it is look easy and difference. For me contra is need sometimes to giving stabilization through the complex modern society. Hence, in term of designing I have to concentrate on the subject matter rather than form of subject matter and through that, because there's not a lot of adornment, it becomes relatively minimal. All the parts are there because they're integral. For me the concept of minimal is close toward society nowadays. It is relating to the time development where it is plays a very important rules for the society acceptance, but a difference makes a special. The Conceptual Minimalism is going related to the nature, instinct and human activities.

THE BEHIND OF  isea6 


isea6 is a name for my seater project. This is a preliminary project exposure that will be produce soon. So i hope it will be successful branding in a future. The name of isea6 are come from ' i ' which refer to myself or anyone who have my furniture and 'sea6' are refer to human posture when their seat on my chair. I hope this name will create a new perspective in furniture industry especially for young designer.
